About me

Hi, lovely to meet you

I'm Ley (they/them) — I've spent the last decade exploring embodiment through music, performance, and touch, and I'd love to share some of that with you.

Portrait of Ley Kitzing.

I did my master's degree in music therapy ten years ago, and I've worked as a performance artist — in circus and music — for many years since. Somewhere along the way, embodiment became the thread running through all of it, and the last decade has been about exploring that topic through its many different forms.

Today I'm a certified Pantarei Practitioner and currently in my second year of training in Somatic Experiencing. Both inform how I work with people: with care, with curiosity, and with a lot of respect for what your body already knows.

A path shaped by many forms of embodiment

Music therapy

My master's degree gave me a foundation in how sound, rhythm, and presence can move something in a person that words alone can't reach.

Performance — circus & music

Years on stage taught me a different kind of body literacy: how to stay present under pressure, and how much a body can communicate before a word is spoken.

Pantarei Practitioner

A certified training in the Pantarei Approach, which uses touch as an intuitive, direct way of connecting with the body — the practice at the heart of my sessions.

Somatic Experiencing, second year

An ongoing training in this trauma-aware, body-centered method, focused on gently regulating the nervous system rather than reliving what happened.

What I care about

I love being nerdy and passionate about a lot of things, but a few topics have a special place in my heart — and quietly shape how I hold space for people:

Chronic illness Neurodivergence Trauma Queerness Play Art Intersectionality Community

Curious what a session with me looks like?
